Not that we are really surprised, but Ashlee Simpson has denied Nick Carter’s claims that he hooked up with the Chicago star to piss off Paris Hilton. 

 Carter said, “I hooked up with Ashlee Simpson. When Paris came back from Australia, they talked to each other and she found out about it.” However, Simpson insists the alleged tryst never took place, telling MSN, “No! That is so random. When I heard that, I was dying laughing.”

I wish Nick would just go crawl back under that rock he’s been hiding under since the Backstreet Boys split.

How could we have possible missed this?  Nick Carter was chatting with Howard Stern while pimping his new show House of Carters, and let it drop that his first serious girlfriend was the infamous middle school teacher Debra Beasley LaFave.  In case you have forgotten her, she is the hottie school teacher who got caught sleeping with her thirteen year old student in Florida.

Carter and LaFave’s relationship ended in the mid-90s after LaFave began a Sapphic relationship and two-timed the up-and-coming singer. “When I left to go on tour with the Backstreet Boys, I came back home and I heard she had cheated on me with a girl while I was on the road. That is why we broke up. I wanted to get back together with her until this child/teacher stuff happened.”

Hmm, do you see a pattern here with this woman.  Except now Nick has spilled the beans that she was sleeping around with other girls too.  Wonder if parents of daughters who had LaFave as a schoolteacher will be wondering if girls fell victim to her, too.

And kind of sad the Carters have to resort to so much trashy tell-all publicity just to get three people to watch their reality show.

Well, it looks like Nick Carter is finally willing to speak about this tumultous relationship with socialite diva Paris Hilton, suspiciously timing it with the premier of his family’s House of Carters show premier tomorrow night on E!  Page Six reports:

 NICK Carter says he decided to fight fire with fire when he learned that Paris Hilton was rampantly cheating on him with Sophia Bush’s fiancé, Chad Michael Murray - so he waited until she jetted off to Australia and then jumped into bed with Ashlee Simpson.

 Charming, isn’t he?
